Description:

Machine learning continues to be a term that generates buzz in our industry, but what is it? How is it different from other kinds of data analysis and how does it help us in our quest to build artificial intelligence? Everyone wants to know how these capabilities can add immediate value to their projects. In this course we will start from the beginning and identify the key concepts that help workers understand what Machine Learning promises, and, more importantly, what its limits are.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Define machine learning and understand how it is an application of artificial intelligence.
  2. Uncover the history of machine learning and AI and how far this technology has evolved today.
  3. Learn how machine learning systems are created and trained to perform important functions in data collection and analysis.
  4. Better understand how machine learning has the potential to enhance the construction process and help us build more predictable and profitable projects.
