Course Description

This module teaches the transition from traditional task management to strategic coaching and conflict resolution, essential skills for developing an autonomous workforce and keeping construction projects moving forward. You’ll learn how to use the Socratic method to spark critical thinking, lead with empathy, and identify operational challenges before they become costly delays.

Through practical strategies and real-world examples, you’ll establish written Working Agreements at the start of a project and use continuous feedback loops to improve workflows. You’ll also learn how to close communication gaps, reduce cognitive clutter, and use the MAT process (Monitor, Align, Track) to keep teams aligned and accountable. In addition, you’ll explore how to leverage AI tools to boost productivity, manage schedules, and support better decision-making.

By mastering these skills, you’ll prevent cost overruns, strengthen a team culture built on ownership and accountability, and translate stronger communication into measurable business results and improved project profitability.
