How Do I Apply This to Construction? -- Company Culture Program (Part 4)
Apply your new skills directly to real-world scenarios to break down team silos and navigate high-stress projects.
Course Description
This module serves as the capstone of the program content, focusing on how to apply the company culture framework to real-world construction environments. Designed for professionals ready to move from theory to action, it explores how the three-part framework of Leading Self, Owning Relationships, and Team Performance come together to navigate everyday challenges, from the office to jobsite.
You will begin by “checking under the hood” through a personal skills assessment that helps you evaluate your current strengths and areas for growth. From there, you will explore how culture shifts depending on your environment and role, whether you are directly shaping culture on a project site or influencing it at the broader company level. No matter the setting, you will discover that your actions always impact the culture around you.
Through three industry-specific scenarios, you will apply the framework to complex construction challenges. You will learn how to identify which leadership skills are needed depending on the context and explore how to practically apply them to break down silos, empower teams, navigate high-stress conflict, shift from a “player” mindset to a “coach” mindset, and strengthen trust through communication, connection, and care.
By the end of the module, you will understand how culture influences team performance, innovation, accountability, and business success. Most importantly, you will leave with practical tools to lead intentionally and make a lasting impact on the people and culture around you.
